Meet Your Finance Team
A UK qualified bookkeeper and born entrepreneur, I set up my own business in 2005 and helped a variety of businesses such as financial institutions. charities, engineering and tech companies in building stronger finance functions through a better understanding of their bookkeeping and accounting. I took the business fully online in 2011.
I’ve already achieved my first goal - to live life to the fullest whilst creating a thriving business that benefits from my life experiences.
Away from the day job, I’m a mum of 2 grown up children with a thirst for travel and adventure and a love of life’s simple pleasures, things like yoga, meditation, hiking and getting out and about in my campervan - oh and vegan food of course!
I love salsa dance and am a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
I keep your books in order and your numbers balanced. If you’re struggling to find more hours in the day I can help by introducing bookkeeping and accounting processes that will free you up to focus on the stuff that you really love and that earns you money.
Like many of our clients I’ve taken the entrepreneurial plunge leaving my corporate job as an admin assistant and went on to study for my AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification which I passed in 2019. I feel very grateful to have been given the opportunity to work as part of the VYB team and fortunate to have Tracy as a mentor.
Away from work, I’m usually found working out, cooking (often with a glass of prosecco) and catching up with family and friends.
My first dream was to be a professional dancer, and while that didn’t quite happen, I am a qualified level 2 fitness instructor.
I specialise in helping social enterprises, charities and creative types to build strong, successful companies. I’m passionate about working with clients who make a profit with a purpose - to put something back and forge a more progressive society.
It’s been said I have a talent for asking the right questions and explaining things in clear English that our clients understand and can do something with. I learnt my craft in corporate accountancy and now love being my own boss as well as part of the VYB team.
Not everybody knows but I once abseiled down the KPMG building in Canary Wharf, which is an eye-watering 69m, 227ft or more than 16 double decker buses tall!
I provide accountancy and business guidance and support, primarily for small to medium sized businesses from a wide range of professions including import/export, manufacturing, IT, marketing and even dealers in fine art.
Having always had a head for numbers I started out in banking before moving from China to the UK back in 2001. I quickly joined a local firm that mentored and encouraged me to progress my accountancy expertise.
In 2007 I became a British Citizen and soon after set up my own practice TMF Accountants and then in 2015 I also became an associate of Your Vegan Bookkeeper and haven’t looked back since.
Those that know me well know that I love playing golf, so if the sun is shining don’t call as I’ll probably be on the green.
Harley joined YVB in Nov 2019. He's willing and available for pet therapy and dog-cuddle fixes. Harley’s favourite pastimes include chasing and retrieving tennis balls, going for walks and swimming (generally in circles). He’s also very fond of anything he can get to eat, whether it was meant for him or not. He also considers himself the official greeter at the front door and guardian of the garden and all he surveys (which is typically the end of his nose if a tennis ball is involved!)
We’re all about growth and whilst understanding and using the knowledge that you gain from your financials is key, there are also growth strategies, marketing campaigns and websites to manage. My partner Jeff supports YVB and our clients in this area.
During the week I am an e-business consultant and growth strategist with twenty years’ experience selling luxury and lifestyle products online for established UK brands and start-ups with a solid record of success.
I have written white papers for and lectured on ecommerce and digital marketing in the UK, Switzerland, Argentina, Poland and Australia across the wine industry, luxury watches, renewable energy and the music industry.

At the weekend I devote my time to my family, to painting, sustainable living, growing vegetables and Harley the Labrador.
